Volunteering on a municipal campaign is mostly neighbours talking to neighbours – about a bus route, a pathway, a school, a development down the road. Some people knock on doors in pairs, some deliver lawn signs on their own schedule, some make phone calls from their kitchen table, and some help at a community table for an afternoon. No experience needed, and no set schedule. An afternoon is genuinely useful.
