Whether you choose to live in Kanata North for the greenspace, the well-designed neighbourhoods, the many pathways, trails, lakes and streams or because of its longstanding relationship with excellence in design and technology, you know how important it is to feel connected to the place you call home.
Understanding the connections people need to be healthy has been critical to my work in education, health care, children’s mental health, and as your current City Councillor. As a parent of four young adults, an educator, with five years as your Kanata North City Councillor, having been a director on the CHEO board and many others, and as your former Chair of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, I would be honoured to continue to make those connections stronger for all of us for the next four years.
